Dear mrs Horne...

This one goes out to my mom's American friend, mrs Horne. She doesn't speak Swedish and the other day she told my mom she couldn't read my blog.

Hello mrs Horne,

how are you? I'm doing just fine! I turned 19 months a week ago, can you believe it? My mom says she can't believe how fast your children are growing, I guess it's about the same with you... I'm about 2 feet and 10 inches, that's pretty tall isn't it? :) I just started daycare a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it! It's great to have all those children to play with, I think there's 13 of us. I do know how to count, but not that far... But I can say "te tå te" which means "three two three", but I pretend it means "1 2 3". I actually know a lot of words, about 25 I think, maybe more. My most recent word is pine cone! I also know how to sound like a lot of animals, like tiger, dog and cow. I do believe that the cat also sounds like the dog but mom says that's wrong... I guess it's right what they say about walking/talking - if you walk early you talk late and the other way around. I didn't start walking until I was 16 months, but nobody can stop me from talking now! A lot of gibberish but a lot of real words too.

I love to play with balls, cars, lego and my soft puppy that my aunt gave me. My dad think's I'm gonna be a soccer player when I grow up, 'cause I really love love love to kick some ball! I'm pretty good at it too they say ;) I have the same carpet as your son (mom saw it on the pictures from your house), Ikea is the best :) I play with my cars a lot! I also like to watch cars and airplanes. Some people say I'm a tomboy but I don't care. Oh yeah, I like to read too! When mom and dad don't have time I just grab a book and read it out loud myself.

Please tell me, mrs Horne, how are your children doing? I wish I'll get to see them some day before they're all grown up... If you ever consider vacation in Europe, please come see us! :)
